Little Harmless Sadako... by TheChainsawUnicorn Little Harmless Sadako... by TheChainsawUnicorn
...wasnít so harmless after all...
The book "Ring" is better the movies "Ringu" and "The Ring" (where Sadako was know as Samara).

In the book Sadako is a beautiful woman who was almost twenty when she was raped and thrown down the well that soon became her grave. The cabin was later built over the sealed well. Things played together in such a way that the infamous and very deadly videotape came into existence. You watch it; you die seven days later, exactly.

There, I will not give away anymore of the story

This would be based loosly on beautiful Miss Sadako. I made her not so pretty, kind of like a heart attack or any other form deadly chest pain (if youíve read Ring's sequel, Spiral, you'll know what the hell Iím referring to.) This was the most challenging thing Iíve created in a while. And actually took me the better part of two weeks to finish, ink, scan, clean up, and finally debated on posting here. (Iím oddly superstitious) Can you differentiate between her dress and her hair? If not please tell me so!

Edit-----
i just though that i would update this with a cleaner copy
--------

Disclaimer: if you or a friend dies within seven days of viewing this deviation.... well then your just flat out screwed aren't you?

Yeah, I read the book and it was really brilliant and scary, not like the movies (either japanese or american)

I convinced my mother to read it too. She slammed it shut in the middle of the night and refused to read anymore until it was daylight because she got freaked out.

Haha, actually I read while being in the train, in the middle of the night, with only me and my cousin in the compartment xD That was freaky, even for me who doesn't get scared so easily (I watch horror movies for a laugh, I'm not scared by them).

Later in the night, I was playing with my cell phone and recorded something that sounded like this :

Pooooobuuuuuudddddkaaaa~a (Waaaaaakeeeeeeuuuuuppppppppp ) *noises like Sadako or Kayako from the Grudge*

and made it my alarm clock. I almost died from a heart attack when it turned on later while I was still asleep and it was still dark >_<

hahaha, well yes in a good mood and finding stuff like that can be scary. Though I'm more afraid of the things I see when I'm dead tired, I can't sleep and I'm simply looking in the dark corner. My damn imagination is pretty good, so go figure.

it's kinda funny when I pretend to talk to something that isn't there to go and bother someone else. And it's not "don't kill me lines" it's more like:

"Seriously can't you see I'm trying to sleep, get lost."

That's brilliant! :+fav:
A cunning mixture of pattern & form. I don't know the book or the film, but it sounds like a tragic story. Your image has that feel of pain, injustice, sadness & spookyness to it, altho' it is also very beautiful...like a teardrop in the rain.

That would be a very cool tattoo, it would be very original and unique as a tattoo and that's the coolness of it!

I will admit it is a bit abstract... but.. I see a beautiful woman with long beautiful flowing hair covering her face. She probably at one point had a lot of respect for herself seeing as her dress is very fancy and elegant. She's very frustrated, you can see the emotion in her hair... the way it twists and tangles, whatever is disturbing her is something soaked in sorrow with a pinch of salt... like her hands.

:O_o: Wow... that's the most well thought out comment Iíve received in quite a long time!

And it's dead on the money with the way she's portrayed in the books!

I'm a little spooked now...

Nice. I like how the swirls of her hair and dress are similar enough to look alike, yet contrast enough to tell them apart.

lol. Love the disclaimer. I never knew there was a book. O_o Raped and thrown in a well does sound worse than just being tossed in the well.
